Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Our expectations for respectful communication and how we handle abuse in support and community channels.
Written By Daniel Nguyen
We want you to tell us when BoltAI falls short. Bug reports, complaints, negative feedback, and disagreements help us improve. You can be direct, disappointed, or frustrated and still treat people with respect.
BoltAI has zero tolerance for personal insults, harassment, threats, or abuse directed at its developer, support team, or other community members. Paying for BoltAI does not excuse abusive behavior.
Where this policy applies
This policy applies to our feedback board, bug reports, feature requests, comments, support email, and other interactions with BoltAI through our official channels.
What crosses the line
- Personal insults, name-calling, or degrading remarks directed at a person.
- Threats, intimidation, or attempts to pressure someone through harassment.
- Discriminatory slurs or sexually harassing messages.
- Sharing or threatening to share someone's private information.
- Repeated unwanted contact after being asked to stop, or using other accounts or channels to bypass a ban.
Criticism and bug reports are welcome
You do not need to prove that something is a bug before reporting it. A report that turns out to describe expected behavior, a configuration issue, or a missing feature is still welcome when made in good faith.
Disagreeing with our explanation, questioning a product decision, requesting a refund, or leaving a negative review is not, by itself, abuse. We assess conduct separately from whether a report is technically correct.
Please describe what happened, what you expected, and any steps that help us reproduce the issue. Keep the discussion focused on the problem.
How we enforce this policy
If you cross these boundaries, we may remove abusive posts or comments, end a conversation, restrict support contact, or temporarily or permanently ban you from our feedback and community channels.
We may act immediately, including on a first incident, without a prior warning. We may give a warning when appropriate, but we do not promise a warning or a fixed number of chances before taking action.
These moderation measures concern support and community participation. Any action affecting product access, licenses, or refunds is governed by our Terms of Use, applicable purchase terms, and applicable law.
We will treat you respectfully. We expect the same in return.
